What is a Rental Readiness Score?
It is a free 0–100 preparation score based only on the applicable document categories you mark as ready. Work, income, rental-history and reference answers can change the preparation notes, but never the score. It is not an assessment by a landlord or agent.
Does a high score mean my application will be approved?
No. The score only reflects the preparation categories and weighting shown by this tool. It does not assess eligibility, compare applicants or predict a landlord's or agent's decision.
Is the readiness check really free?
Yes. The check is free and requires no sign-up. Your answers stay in your browser. If you allow analytics, we record pseudonymous usage events with the tool, market, an ephemeral attempt ID and standard attribution, without the answers you enter. A later RentFiles application is a separate flow.
What happens after I get my score?
You receive a preparation list for categories marked as not ready. If you want, you can then build a RentFiles application pack — filling it is free, and you pay only if you export the finished PDF.
